In one of the coolest things that’s happened to me lately, I squeaked into the Mad Genius Club’s list of the top 10 Hispanic writers of SFF. Any time you share a list with Ortega y Gasset, you’re in good company!
Topical Easter fun, anyone? My story “Dangerous Skies” is up at Manawaker Studio as a free podcast. It’s a flash piece, really short, so if you want a slightly deranged take on this holiday and a couple of cheap smiles, you can get them in less than 5 minutes. You can Check out the publishers site or the YouTube version.
My novel The Malakiad was launched today! You can buy it here!
Contract signed and sent back – my story “Bridge Over the Cunene” will be appearing in Revisiting the Undead, an anthology of reprints about… the undead, from Lycan Valley Press Publications. It’s somehow fitting that a story about the undead has a new lease on life, don’t you think?
My Story “Fields of Joy” has sold to Outposts of Beyond. It should be appearing in the January 2019 issue… I’ll remind everyone then!
If anyone’s curious about my N3F prizewinning story “Qalnoth’s Favor”, it’s available in the latest edition of the N3F magazine, Eldritch Science.
If you grew up in the eighties, or with the music from the eighties, you might get a real kick out of my story “Stilettos in the Snow” which was published at Anotherealm last week.
A couple of nice reviews over the past few days – one of Siege and another of The Worlds of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror, Volume III, which specifically mentions my story… always nice to see that. You can check them out here and here.
Recently learned that my story “Pacific Wind” will be appearing in Best Indie Speculative Fiction, Volume One. Always nice to be part of a “Best Of” collection, especially as I’ve always loved this particular story. Here’s a link to the antho’s website.
