Sale! Contract signed, so I can announce that my story “The Purity of the Turf” will be appearing in Sherlock Holmes: A Year of Mystery. Playing in Victorian England is escapism at its best, so I’m delighted this one found a good home.

My story “Strange Tractors” has been podcast by Manawaker, and you can listen free right here. This is an SF tale inspired by what I remember of chaos theory from college. It’s quite short, and I hope people enjoy it!

In support for the launch of my book Safe and Sorry, Creators Publishing has planned a free virtual panel in which three prominent Latino and Latina authors/speakers and I discuss fiction, nonfiction, the Hispanic experience and the decolonization of thought.

This is going to be one of the most interesting panels I’ve ever been on, full of people I admire – plus, the publisher will be there, too (so author friends, come on over).

Happy to report that my story “Junkyard Dog” is in the first ever issue of Starward Shadows! I’ve linked to the story (free to read) in the first comment.This one is a core science fiction story of far-future palace intrigue… but skewed quite far from what you’ll usually read in that genre.
