Tales from the Canyon of the Damned #32 has been released! This one contains my tale “Superclásico”, and… well, that cover is just amazing.
You can buy your own copy here.
The Creeping Corruption Anthology, edited by John Baltisberger, and which contains my story “Christopher’s Retreat” is available for purchase! As Always, link here for those who may be interested (this is one for the horror fans).
My story “You Have Dialed a Wrong Number” has sold to Cosmic Crimes. I’ve been selling quite a bit to Alban Lake recently – and it’s always nice when a publisher likes your style.
That’s me, reading my contributor’s copy of Volume 2 of Write Ahead the Future Looms, which is a cyberpunk magazine to which I was invited to contribute a serial story. Interestingly, the invitation came about because the editors saw my story “Pyrrhic” in Black Ice, a mag which has since disappeared.
Anotherealm has published its table of contents for 2019. My story “Desperate Measures” is scheduled for the November slot… so you can mark your calendars for it.
Have a look:
January Aerodynamics — Ahmed Khan
February Market Day — Stephanie Gray
March The New Americans — Dean Grondo
April The Circle-Route — Jamie D. Munro
May Kittylyn — Julia Benally
June Unicorns vs. Zombies — Nathan Cromwell
July The Witching Hour by Ekpeki Chovwe Donald
August Salvation — Toney Baus
September Floaters — C.I. Kemp
October A Queen’s Way — Margaret Karmazin
November Desperate Measures — Gustavo Bondoni
December A Surprise!
My flash piece “Ghostprint” has sold to Spaceports & Spidersilk, and will mark my debut in that publication… how cool is that?
The table of contents for Tales From the Old Black Ambulance has been released! This one will contain my story “Caddy Man”, a very offbeat horror story which I particularly like. Some familiar names, others that I haven’t yet had the pleasure of reading in there. Link is here, and the ToC is below (also, check out that cover… cool, huh?).
Here’s the ToC:

As promised, I’m letting everyone know that the paperback edition of Ice Station: Death is available for purchase! Amazon | B&N.
Plus, since it’s the featured book on the slider on the publisher’s site (yes, I know that’s only until they publish the next new book, but I still think it’s cool) , I thought it would be fun to show a link to that as well. Also, since I was at it, I thought I’d show everyone the book’s page on the Severed site, too.
There’s an interview with me up at Christopher Schmitz’s site, so if you’re curious to learn a little more about me (and about one of my non-SFF books), check it out.
Today, I’d like to take some time off from the amazing book and contest news of the past few days to call attention to one of my quieter stories–one that I love, and feel is a powerful piece (of course, you’re allowed to disagree, that’s what the comments are for!).
NewMyths has just published “Our Song”, free to read in this link. If you’re not really into science fiction or S&S but want to read something of mine, this short piece is a great place to start.
I don’t know what readers will think, but I truly enjoyed writing this one.
