Happy to report that my story “Autobiography, Carved in Stone” has been published in Land Beyond the World. This one makes me happy because it’s a story based on mythology and the question of what happened to all the mythological beings from way back then.You need a subscription to the mag to read the tale, so I’ve added the link to their page here – if anyone reads it, let me know what you think!

Cool news (and a bit unexpected) is that my critical piece ‘Ellison’s Love Letter to Bradbury: “He Who Grew Up Reading Sherlock Holmes”’ has been published in the New York Review of Science Fiction (issue 355).

I don’t write all that much criticism, but when I do, I send it to NYRoSF as a matter of course, and have appeared in their pages a few times. The funny pat was that they’d originally crefdited me as Nestor Bondoni (both my father and grandfather are so named) but told me they’ll fix it. So look for either name on your copy if you are a subscriber.

Alien Dimensions issue 20/21 is available for preorder. This one contains my story “Stony Ground” and I’ve shared the link here.

Sale! My story “Horned Helmets of the Cross” has sold to Sci-Fi Lampoon. It fits perfectly in the lampoon category, so I’m delighted it landed there!
