Fun stuff for today is that Into the Ruins Volume 7, with one of my stories in it, got a mention in Locus. I like getting my name in Locus, because everyone reads it… Have a look.

 

Nice news for this week is that The Worlds of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Vol III has been released. This one contains my story “A Position of Power” (which I particularly love) and I see a couple of friends on the ToC. So cool stuff all around.  You can purchase a copy here.

 

Nova SF from Germany has released it’s latest issue (Vol 25), which includes the first German translation of one of my stories – in this case, “Tenth Orbit”. So for you German readers reading this, go forth and buy one! 🙂

I seem to be doing better at contests.  Last year, I finally won the SF Reader contest and now, I’ve received news that my story “Qalnoths Favor” has placed 2nd in 2017 N3F story Contest. Last year I was the only Honorable Mention, so moving up the ranks a bit is nice!

First review I’ve seen of the Still Waters antho. This one has my story “Embrace of the Deep” in it, although the reviewer doesn’t call the story out specifically.  You can read it here

Well, I promised everyone that I’d let them know when the Trump: Utopia or Dystopia anthology was available. Well, it’s here and it contains my story “Truth, From the Heart” (you’ll have to read it to see if I did a Utopia or a Dystopia, although people familiar with my work can probably guess). My story “Dangerous Skies” has been accepted by Manawaker Studio, and will be podcast soon – I’ll keep everyone posted and link to the story when it goes live.

Story sales x 2 to report. A couple of reprints to close out the year. My story Aulus Fabius Ambustus will be appearing in Disturbed Digest, while Bridge Over the Cunene, one of my all time favorite stories, has been picked up by Revisiting the Undead. A good way to end the year!
