One of the nicest things about being an author are Amazon reviews. Even the scathing ones are from a perfect stranger–not a professional reviewer–who was affected sufficiently by your work to invest a tiny (or not so tiny in some cases, especially when the book made them mad!) slice of their time to say something about it. Here’s one from a few days ago that, without being long or even glowing, encapsulates why writers love to write!
A couple of nice pieces of news regarding Outside. The first is that it is now available as an Kindle ebook so go forth and get yourself one! The second is that, for those who have not joined the ereader revolution, the paperback is currently on sale at $2.20. Now THAT is a bargain price!
My story “Anchored Down in Anchorage” has been published in the Fall 2017 issue of Into the Ruins. Perusing my contributor’s copy, I’m honored to note that my story leads off the issue. How cool is that?

A great review of Incursion came up on Amazon (this one seems to be even more popular than Siege among those who have read both!). The nice thing about this one is that it was written by Jackie Kingon who is an excellent SF writer herself (author of Sherlock Mars).
